Merubah flashdisk dari 1 gb ke 2gb atau 2gb ke 4gb. Opa rasa itu tidak perlu dilakukan. Kenapa opa bilang begitu? karena itu hanya manipulasi software saja. Kok opa bisa bilang begitu? karena opa pernah mencobanya dan hasilnya nol. Maksudnya nol adalah untuk tampilan ketika kita klik properties memang seharusnya 1gb jadi 2gb atau 2 gb jadi 4 gb, tetapi ketika kita masukin data lebih dari itu gak bisa.





Contoh:
Flasdisk yang aslinya 1gb tidak bisa di isi lebih dari 1gb
Flashdisk yang aslinya 2gb juga tak bisa di isi lebih dari aslinya.

Itulah yang disebut manipulasi software.
Ini pengalaman opa biar opamer juga tau.
Mungkin diantara opamer juga ada yang pernah mencoba itu bukan?

Jika ada yang belum pernah mencoba dan pada intinya gak percaya silahkan di coba, ini opa siapin buat yang penasaran.

Langkah untuk 1gb ke 2gb:
1. Download software
2. Kosongkan Flashdisk dari data-data/ simpan dulu data-data opamer ke tempat lain
3. Format flashdisk opamer dalam bentuk file system “FAT“.
4. Lalu jalankan software yang sudah opamer download tadi.
5. Selanjutnya pilih posisi drive Flashdisk opamer.
6. Selanjutnya klick tombol “FIX“.
7. Sekarang flashdisk 1 Gb milik opamer sudah menjadi 2 Gb.
8. Klick kanan lalu properties.


Untuk mengembalikan dari 2gb ke 1gb (aslinya):
1. Format flashdisk opamer dalam bentuk file system “FAT“.
2. Jika format sukses
3. Eject flashdisk
4. Lepas/ cabut
5. Dan kembali tancapkan ke USB
6. Lihat properties apakah sudah kembali 1gb ?

SARAN:
Kalo coba itu themes di sarankan tidak buka "deep freeze" sebelum menemukan yang benar-benar cocok dan tidak kres dengan software lain. Memperbaiki Dokumen Microsoft Office

Malam gini mata masih melotot. Dari pada diam saja akhirnya opa kepikiran buat kasih pembahasan baru tentang "Cara Menperbaiki Dokumen Microsoft office yang Rusak". Opa perkenalkan dengan cewek yuk...kok cewek ta opa?? eh salah ya hehehe..maksudnya opa perkenalkan dengan "text recovery converter". Text Recovery Converter merupakan fasilitas tambahan yang ada di MS Word untuk membuka dan memperbaiki file-file yang rusak. Sayangnya, fasilitas ini tidak diinstal secara otomatis. Anda harus menginstalnya sendiri. Begini caranya.



1. Buka Control Panel. Klik ganda ikon “Add and Remove Program”.
2. Pada kotak dialog Add and Remove Program, cari program MS Office yang terinstall, misalnya Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003.
3. Klik tombol “Change”.
4. Pilih “Add and Remove Feature”, lalu klik “Next”,
5. Pada kotak dialog “Microsoft Office Setup”, beri tanda centang pada pilihan “Choose Advanced Customization of Applications”, dilanjutkan dengan mengklik “Next”.
6. Pada daftar fitur yang ada, cari “Converters and Filters”, lalu klik tanda “+”.
7. Pilih “Text Converters” dan beri pilihan “Run from My Computer”.
8. Klik “Update”.

Setelah Text Recovery Converter terinstal, Anda dapat menggunakan fasilitas ini untuk membuka file yang rusak. Caranya? Ini dia.
1. Buka program MS Word, lalu klik “File > Open…”.

Hapus Aplikasi yang Bandel

Jika sering mencoba-coba aplikasi gratisan, pasti Anda pernah mengalami aplikasi yang masih tercantum di daftar Add or Remove Programs padahal Anda sudah menghapusnya dari sistem. Nah, daripada bersusah-payah menginstal aplikasi lain untuk membersihkannya, bersihkan saja sendiri lewat 'Registry Editor'.

Caranya sangat mudah:
1. Buka jendela Registry Editor, lalu cari lokasi “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SOFTWARE-Microsoft-Windows-CurrentVersion-Uninstall”. Direktori ini menyimpan semua nama aplikasi di jendela Add or Remove Programs yang disimpan dalam bentuk direktori.
2. Cari nama aplikasi yang ingin dihapus. Setelah ketemu, klik direktorinya, lalu pilih “Delete” dari menu bar “Edit”.

Anda juga bisa cara lainnya.
1. Klik kanan direktori tersebut.
2. setelah menu konteks tampil, pilih “Delete”.
3. Sebelum menutup jendela Registri Editor, tekan tombol “F5” di keyboard untuk memperbaharui isi registri.
4. Tanpa harus me-restart Windows, buka jendela Add or Remove Programs, lalu cari nama aplikasi yang semula sulit untuk dihapus. Pasti saat ini sudah lenyap.

Cara Mengatasi Virus Menginfeksi Seluruh Jaringan Komputer

Banyak virus yang tersebar lewat jaringan komputer di warnet maupun kantor terutama akibat adanya akses internet. Satu komputer client saja yang terinfeksi, akan bisa menginfeksi seluruh jaringan komputer yang mungkin hingga ratusan. Apalagi setiap komputer client men-share file/folder akan lebih mudah terkena virus yang notabene selalu mencari peluang untuk mengandakan diri dan kemudian menyebar.

Stopping network share infectors

Many viruses today are share infectors. They infect open shares throughout the network. A single infected computer is capable of infecting hundreds of other machines.

It is a common scenario that many sites have open shares on their servers where all users has unlimited access. The intention of these shares is to provide an universal area where all users can exchange common files and information. Other scenarios include shares that are not intended for common purposes, but they are open due to lack of planning and security.
No matter the reason, these file shares are highly exposed to viruses like Pinfi and Funlove that have open file shares as a target for infection.

A share infector scenario:


The figure above illustrates an unprotected workstation (IP: 192.168.0.13) that is allowed to execute a file infected with the Pinfi virus. The infected workstation will propagate open file shares on computers in the network, look for files with .exe and .scr extension on these shares and then try to infect these files.

All servers in this situation are protected with updated antivirus software, which monitors the file system on the servers. An attempt to infect files on these shares will be detected and infected files are instantly cleaned.

The problem, however, is that the workstation is still infected and will re-infect the .exe and .scr files shortly after the antivirus software has performed the first clean operation. We now have an infect-clean-infect cycle that will go on forever unless something is being done with the original infection: the infected workstation.

Finding the source of the problem

In a large network with hundreds, even thousands of machines, it can be really hard to find this particular workstation. The Virus Alert message normally just points at the target file for the infection, which virus that was found, and what has been done to the file. There is obviously a need for some extra information to solve this problem.

One way of solving the problem is to use an external tool to monitor a file that is likely to be infected. To avoid too many changes on any of the original servers it may be a good idea to set up a new test machine in the network, create an open share on this machine, and place a copy the .exe file here. In the Pinfi case we know that .exe files are attractive targets to infect, and we copy the file calc.exe from the \Windows directory to the new file share. The calc.exe file is now a “bait" for the infector.

Before we connect the “bait" machine to the network, we need to install a “sniffer" program. We think Ethereal is a good alternative, but programs like Sniffer Pro and Etherpeek will do as well, but Ethereal can be downloaded free of charge. It contains a lot of functionality, so in this paper we will only cover functions relevant to solve this particular scenario.

Install Ethereal

You need two components:

1. Install and run the WinPCap driver that can be downloaded from winpcap.polito.it
2. Install and run Ethereal - can be downloaded from ethereal.com

NOTE: Although our experience with Ethereal is good, we do not support it, so you use it at your own risk.

Monitoring the activity on the network

When Ethereal is installed, make sure that the NVC’s On-access scanner is running on the machine, and start the NVC Utilities program where you open the Messages window.

Before you start monitoring the file, make sure that it gets infected by watching the virus alerts in the Messages window. If no virus alerts appear, then the bait does not work. Check again to make sure that the directory containing the bait really is shared, and that all users have full access to the share.



If this still does not work, you may need to install Ethereal on one of the servers where the infection originally appeared. Some share infectors just infect shares that were available upon start of the infected program. In such a case, find a file here to use as bait for the infection.

Now start Ethereal. We want to capture the activity that the machine receives via the network. But we only want to focus on activity related to the bait, which is the calc.exe test file.



n the lower left corner there is a field labelled Filter: In this field type the string:

smb.file contains “calc.exe"

Select the command Capture/Start and then click OK. The capture window appears. From now on watch the activity in the NVC Utilities’ Messages window. As soon as there is a new infection on our bait, close the Ethereal capture window. The log from the capture appears in the main window. Make sure that our filter is active by clicking Apply.

By watching the “Source" and “Destination" columns you should now be able to see the IP addresses used in manipulations of the calc.exe file. In our case the local address for our machine is 192.168.0.15. The other IP address involved in the transactions is 192.168.0.13.

Obviously a machine with the address 192.168.0.13 is the infector. You can now solve the problem by isolating it and then perform a complete On-demand scan supplied with the relevant fix(es).

Repeat the process to ensure that there are no other infectors in the network.

Ketika komputer startup, dan ternyata tidak mau masuk ke Windows dengan error seperti 'dll not found' atau mungkin menampilkan 'blue screen' bisa disebabkan oleh banyak hal, antara lain:

1. Sistem operasi Windows ada file yang secara tidak sengaja terhapus
2. Ada virus, spyware atau trojan yang ikutan 'loading' ketika komputer startup
3. Ada file (driver) rusak yang rusak, dan ketika dibaca oleh Windows gagal
4. Ada kerusakan pada hardware, terutama pada memori komputer atau harddisk
5. Sistem operasi Windows rusak atau belum selesai diinstalasi
6. Ada setting BIOS yang di-setting tidak benar atau baru diubah

Cara mengecek dan mengatasinya adalah:

1. Startup dengan menggunakan metode 'safe mode' (tekan F5 ketika komputer pertama kali mau masuk ke Windows, lalu pilih 'safe mode'). Kalau komputer berhasil masuk ke Windows berarti ada 'loading' yang tidak bisa dibaca oleh Windows secara benar. Matikan 'loading' tersebut dengan menggunakan perintah 'msconfig' pada bagian startup (panggilnya di start>run>msconfig)

2. Kalau komputer tidak bisa masuk ke Windows, cara termudah adalah repair Windows. Caranya adalah masukkan CD instalasi Windows, terus ubah BIOS untuk startup lewat CD/DVD-ROM, setelah instalasi masuk ke bagian install Windows, pilihan opsi repair Windows. Kamu bisa menginstall ulang Windows ke folder baru atau menformat harddisk bila ternyata repair Windows gagal.

3. Pastikan dahulu kamu tidak ada mengubah setting BIOS sebelumnya, kalau ada kamu sebaiknya mengembalikannya seperti semula, kalau lupa sebaiknya pilih opsi 'Loading BIOS default'.

4. Bila langkah-langkah di atas gagal semua, kemungkinan ada kerusakan pada hardware kamu. Kerusakan pada umumnya terletak pada memori dan harddisk. VGA dan mainboard mungkin juga bisa rusak, tapi kemungkinannya sangat kecil.

catatan: Kerusakan driver VGA card bisa juga menyebabkan Windows tidak bisa masuk. Kamu harus startup di 'safe mode' lalu uninstall driver VGA yang rusak dahulu, dan baru install kembali driver VGA yang benar ketika masuk ke Windows secara normal.
